If a parent has residency in another state, do there 18 yr old kids automatically get residency there as well?

MY dad will be living n Boston, while i study here in flroida, if i transfer after two yrs, can i study their as a resident student without paying out-of state. I will be 19 in two years. PLEASE HELP.If a parent has residency in another state, do there 18 yr old kids automatically get residency there as well?
No. Unless you already have Massachusets residency and are attending school in Florida as an out of state resident.

Techiancal the kids are not minors so no and uou have to live in florida to have a residency
