Can a child pick a foster home without a parent's consent?

Can a kid under 18 choose to live in a foster home without their parents' consent? Can a child pick a foster home without a parent's consent?
It depends, they can if a court deems the home not suitable for them to live there. They can go to child services and if they deem it necessary they would take the child's case before a judge, he would decide if he/she should be put in foster care.

And as to what the people before who said a child never knows what is best for him/her sometimes they do, be careful what you said because i grew up in an abusive home and i knew i should get out but my parents thought otherwise, so according to you i should have stayed and gotten killed, just be careful with blanket type statementsCan a child pick a foster home without a parent's consent?
If the child is in foster care the birth parents have no say in where they are placed. Here's a link:http://www.fostershome.org/programs.php
No children do not know what is best for them even if they think they do.
No.
