If a parent solicited a prostitute, would this be grounds to involve CPS?

Since police officers are mandated reporters, would they be required to call CPS (child protective services) in this instance. FYI, this is for a social work paper I'm writing. If a parent solicited a prostitute, would this be grounds to involve CPS?
Only if the person brought the prostitute to the house or the child was in the car during the solicited act. the child has to be in immediate danger. Now there may be other factors impacting (drug use for example).

Solicited a prostitute for his kid, do you mean? Yes, that would have to be reported to CPS.

Richard
