If one parent is white and the other black?

Let's say one person has blonde hair and blue eyes and their partner is black (fully) and they have kids. Can they possibly produce a blonde haired or blue eyed kid, or both? I've read that they can't have a completely pale kid, but can he/she still have blonde hair or blue eyes (or both)? Just wondering. Thanks. If one parent is white and the other black?
Not if the black parent doesn't have any white genes. The black parent would have to have the recessive trait for blonde/blue in order to produce a child with those looks.

Now having said that, there are many people whop look completely black, but aren't. So it is possible for a darker skinned black person to have a child with those traits -- if they have invisible, mixed ancestry. If one parent is white and the other black?
Not really, blonde genes are recessive and unless the black parent has it on both sides of their family and so does the white parent then the odds of having a blond kid is unlikely.

ALSO, only 2% of people are natural blondes, so chances are the blonde parent is not a natural one and that means no for sure.
It depends what kind of ';black'; the parent is. For example, if the black parent is an ethiopian, this is most definetly possible. Ethiopians have weak genes, and the child will probably come out looking full white.

Before anyone ignorantly gives me a thumbs down because they think im lying, I want you to research this. I am full ethiopian. I should know what im talking about.
If we are talking about weird gene, then yes a child can come out fully blond but it's very rare.

So people usually check DNA to confirm.

Usually (in the normal sense) the baby comes out half black, maybe pale skin but with brown kinda afro type hair.

Or features of his black father.

Interracial babies are hot.
Yes, they can. If you set up a chart, it's easy to see how.

It depends on the parents' DNA. A parent may be ';fully'; black, but if somewhere along the line they have a dark skinned ancestor that is not actually black, they'll have that DNA with those traits still passed along to their child. The same goes for the other parent. Genetics is a very complex subject.
honestly, anything can happen. im just judging from families i've seeon on the street. i have blonde hair and blue eyes, and i reproduced with a fully black man, and my son has brown skin, hair, and eyes...and is amazingly gorgeous.
Yes, but there's a slim chance that would happen. My friend is half white/black and her hair is naturally blond but she doesn't have blue eyes.
I am black woman and I have a pair of white jeans in my closet. If I put them on will I look Hispanic?
