Why does the mean girl in the movies always have parent issues?

I mean whatever happened to the just plain mean spiteful girls of real life high school?Why does the mean girl in the movies always have parent issues?
I guess mean people have a reason to be mean. They take their anger and frustrations out on other people. Why does the mean girl in the movies always have parent issues?
Because usually the reason they are mean is because they have troubles at home and take out their anger on the people they know at school, work, whatever.





Most people with happily married parents, a good family, and a good life aren't typically mean and instead they enjoy things rather than take them for granted and take out their anger on someone else rather than the person that caused it (themselves).

not to mention of course, it brings in a profit . . .








If it didn't the parents would instead be portrayed,





as characters to be worshiped and adored, and





and sought after for there wisdom, yeh right, in





our dreams . . .








simply put, mean sells, if that weren't the case





things might have been different for the mean girl





portraying a different role, pehaps a movie such





as mother teresa joines the peace corp . . .
well it would be pretty strange if the mean girl in movies have perfect lives wouldnt it??

p.s. my school doesnt even have cliques where jocks hang out with jocks,goth with goth,geeks with geeks.we hang out with whoever we want to and accept their differences so it was a culture shock for me to see movies that had those for the first time.
oh, they dont depict them in the movies anymore.

there are tons of girls around here who are just plain spiteful, but i know their parents.. nothing wrong at all.

lol...parent issues gives them an excuse for bein' a bit*h...and its used to get the audience to be sympathetic to the ';mean girl'; and say she's like that cause her mom is like that or because she has daddy issues lol...
Well plain means girls have serious issues with parents and life in general.

idk lol either that or the really nice pretty girls parents get killed or whatever lol
