How can you tell if your parent know that your gay?

Are there any hints or clues?


Realistic answers please.How can you tell if your parent know that your gay?
My mom set me up with a gay kid my age. We did not like one another, but we met. That is how my mom let me know she knew. My dad brought home a ';Modern Brides'; mag, and dropped it on my bed when he got home.


Two months later, I shipped off to the army. As soon as I turned 18, my dad put me in the army in his country, thinking it would change me.


It did not...apparently.How can you tell if your parent know that your gay?
When they stop asking if you've met any nice girls lately. That would give me pause.
well my parents know because i told them, they won't know unless you tell them

First, you don't have to tell them until you're ready to tell them. And to be ready to tell them, you need to assess your circumstances. If you're still in HS and your parents are extremely conservative in their views about orientation, there could be negative consequences for you. Tell them when you're in a position to take care of yourself.





I am always glad when someone comes out in HS - IF it turns out okay. But all too frequently there is heartache and pain with it.

Well, tbh when i came out to my parents last year i was super scared of what their reaction would be. but when i did tell them they were like '; oh, we already knew alex, we were just waiting for you to tell us'; LOL, i was so dumbfounded and extremely relived and i had no idea that they had 1 clue about me. o_0
Do they point out other gay guys to you? Do they maybe drop hints like, ';Yeah I like Will %26amp; Grace.';? Usually you can tell when your parents know, because they'll drop direct hints to you. So just look at your interactions with them and evaluate to see.
I dno my dad found my porn lol, he was pissed off nd a bit short tempered towards me but he didn't ever bring it up.
They take you to the carnival, take you to see the hannah montana movie, buy you phalic foods, etc
I would email them, I couldnt face my parents and say that.
...know that you're gay.





Chances are they'd react in some way.
