Can a child get medicaid if the working parent is illegal?

can a child who was born here in the US get medicaid/medi-cal if the working parent (the father) is illegal? Do they go after the illegal parent for child support as well ?Can a child get medicaid if the working parent is illegal?
They should not go after the father for child support, they should go after him and deport is illegal a..

And yes, as long as the child is legal, he/she will be fineCan a child get medicaid if the working parent is illegal?
Yes the U.S. Citizen child can get medicaid. If both parents are in the home then they will still look at the income of both parents even if it is cash under the table. As long as they are not over the income limit then the child will be covered. They will not deport the father to mexico for this either, if he brakes the law then he will be deported, or if immigration catches up with him. The welfare office does not turn in illegal's any more because to many children were going without medical attention and food because the parents were afraid of getting deported. They felt it was in the best interest of the child to make sure the child was taken care. Welfare lets other agency's take care of their job themselves.
They will go after the father for child support and deport him when the find him,I think the child would still get free health care if the mother is not working,as long as she is a citizen herself.
If the child was born in the US then yes, they can

The father will be sent back, they don't take kindly to illegal immigrants
Yes the child can still draw medicaid. Yes they will still try and find the absent parent.
