Can i get birth control at 16 without parent knowledge?

I have been with my boyfriend for 2 years now, and we have been sexually active for about a year. We are both 16 and mature and we want to make sure we are safe, we have been using condoms, and making sure to be careful, but i want to get on birth control. Can i get on the pill without either of our parents finding out? The only problem with them knowing is that we come from religious families, and they will have huge issues with us being sexually active at all, never mind being on birth control. Where can i get access to the pill? Can i get birth control at 16 without parent knowledge?
Hi. If you are in the UK then yes you can. My daughter did this through her GP and told me afterwards and she was 16 at the time. I'm not sure about anywhere else though.

It sounds like you are sensible and you have been in a relationship for a long time considering your age, so I think you will be ok, maybe your mum might understand if you tell her, reason being she is more likely to be angry if you keep it from her, having said that I can understand you not wanting to discuss it with her but in the long run she may suprise you and be supportive. I was more hurt than anything when my daughter didn't confide in me, but only you can decide what to do as you know your mum best!!!

Good LuckCan i get birth control at 16 without parent knowledge?
If you go to Planned Parenthood, they usually will examine you and then give you the pill. I'm pretty sure they do anyway, that's where my friend gets hers (She's 25 though) but she's been going there since we were in HS. It's not all about abortions there, you can go to them as your gyno, they usually give younger people a break if you dont have insurance or a job, they may charge you about $10/month for the pill %26amp; want you to come for a physical every 6 months.

You can research @ www.plannedparenthood.org

also give them maybe your cellphone # so they don't call your house
if u go to http://www.plannedparenthood.org/ u can see if there is one in your area and they give birth control and condoms to anyone for free and without your parents knowledge you have to be at least 15 so since u're 15 u don't have to tell u're parents and they won't tell u're parents either
Why dont you go to a planned parenthood. i dont think it matters if you are 16 to go there. look up a planned parenthood online so you can find one near you.
