those of you who are single do you have a girl or boy?Are you more likely to become a single parent if you produce a girl or boy child?
I found sites breaking this down by race, poverty, religion and a hudred other things. So far nothing by gender. I'll look some more and if I find something I'll update this post. I'd be surprised if I find something though. I'd be inclined to guess that the gender of a child has so little to do with the status, that it isn't a measurable statistic.
Personally, having nothing to do with the genders of my children, I'm only likely to become a single parent if one of us had an affair. Are you more likely to become a single parent if you produce a girl or boy child?
Being a single parent has nothing to do with sex of the baby. Most sperm donors bail before the sex is even known. I was the single mother of a wonderful little boy, who is in no way gay. He is a fightsy little boy who loves to play sports. My husband was a single father of twin boys, neither of which is gay. I know several people who have little girls and are single parents. I would even venture as far as I know more single parents of girls than boys. Regardless the one thing that is known is that the fathers that bailed didn't even know the sex of the baby until after they made the choice not to be around (the courts pretty much told them if the mother went that route)
you are more likely to become a single parent if you have a baby with a person that doesn't want to parent. Period! Sex has nothing whatsoever to do with it.
EDIT:Wu crawl back under that rock of yours and stay there. You are the lowest form of human to pick on an innocent child.
edit again: why would you survey something that has no factual merit? Ask any scientist or statistician and they will tell you that you cannot possibly determine if gender of a child predicts whether or not both parents stick around. My sister has 2 daughters an she abandoned them both to their fathers. Blows your little theory right out of the water huh?
You're more likely to become a single parent if you produce a child of either sex while unmarried.
I am positive that single mothers give birth to boys and girls in the exact same ratio that exists for all mothers on the planet---slightly more than 50% of all babies are girls.
Too bad Ms. Wu will be single when she finds out her husband is gay. She has a daughter (or so she says).
Ma'am, you do realize that any one of us here could become single at any given moment and the gender of our children has NOTHING to do with that, right?
I was single and I had a boy. I have friends that have been single that had girls. This question is ridiculous. If the dad chooses not to be around I don't think the sex of the baby changes that decision.
You are more likely to become a single parent if you have sex with a deadbeat who cannot assume responsibility for their actions.
***Get a life Mrs. ';whatever the hell your name is';!!
YOU ARE VERY LIKELY TO BECOME A SINGLE MUM IF YOU SLEEP AROUND AND HAVE NEVER HEARD OF BIRTH CONTROL AND ARE POORLY EDUCATED.
AND A SINGLE MUM IS AN UNMARRIED ONE.
i have a girl and i dnt think that was the trigger for my ex to abuse me phisically and mentally hes just a ba******* pardon my french.
this is a ridiculous question-the sex of the baby has nothing to do if you end up being a single parent.
I personally do not think that it has anything to do with the gender of a child.
I am a single mother because I had a drunk for a husband.
thats a dumb question..i'm not single, with boys, a friend i know is single with boys...sooo...
Pretty intelligent survey. Did you think this one up all by yourself? Clever, Wu!
Awww, Mrs Wu is just jealous because my son is cuter than any child she would ever reproduce.
I'm single, I have a boy.
What?! What does a childs sex have to do with being a single parent?
I know single ppl with both boys and girls...
No. Married with two girls and one boy.
I saw Mrs. Wu's husband bent over last night.
